[[Quick note on his pregnancy and the concealing charm:

I usually won't mind if your character can see that Roy is pregnant. He forgets the concealing charm sometimes. I actually put on his profile that he uses concealing charms because I am aware not everyone reads background, and it would be bizarre if not everyone reacted to his pregnancy. I also know some people hate mpreg, so I am giving them the chance to ignore it is there. So, feel free to say anything really on this matter, I will poke you over comment if I am not okay with your choice.

Once you character knows Roy is pregnant, the concealing charm will not work for him/her again. Which means, they will always see his belly, no matter if it's being concealed or not.

He is pregnant with twins, and somewhere on his third semester. It means he is big.
His pregnancy is not going to advance. All characters that I play here (which are Wizard!Ed, Wizard!Heiderich and Wizard!Roy) are actually stuck on time, they are not a second older than the time when they arrived here.]]

[Background information:

Roy was born to the Mustangs, a long line of proud Wizards of Ireland and Scotland who were entirely sorted into Slytherin ever since the 1500s. (Until the birth of Edward van Hohenheim, son of his cousin Dante Mustang, who was sorted into Gryffindor)

His childhood was uneventful. His parents were ambitious about their only child's future, and he was encouraged to be confident on himself and ambitious, always aim high on his life.

At eleven years of age, shortly before his twelfth birthday, he received his Hogwarts letter. He met Riza Hawkeye on the Hogwarts Express, and knowing she was from a important and politically influent Hufflepuff family of England, he instantly aimed to be friends with her. Riza was at first reluctant at a friendship, but her childhood friend Maes Hughes, who was sympatic and loved making friends, quickly formed a one way friendship with Roy and encouraged Riza to do the same.

Roy was sorted into Slytherin, as he was sure he would. Maes was sorted into Ravenclaw and Riza was sorted into Hufflepuff; which both had expected as well. Riza and Maes kept their friendship and spent the most time they could together, so Roy slowly befriended them both. His own house mates, Havoc and Bradley, also formed a tentative friendship with him, but as he and Havoc grew closer, Bradley and him grew polite to each other.

By his 6th grade, his parents sprung on him an engagement with a female of Malfoy family, one year ahead of him. Roy was surprised, and not just a bit disappointed, because he had preferences for males. His parents had agreed with the Malfoys that they would accept their proposition of alliance through marriage if Roy was not otherwise engaged by his own choice; so, to help him out, Maes decided to engage himself to Roy. He was shocked a second time, but not against it since Maes was one of his best friends and also very attractive, so he accepted.

Roy and Maes married when Roy was 19 and his fiancé a year younger, after graduating from Hogwarts. Since they both were the only heirs to their respective lines, both kept their family names, and as law dictated their first born would have his mother's surname and the second born the other parent's.

Maes accepted an apprenticeship with his Muggle Studies professor right after his graduation, since he was good at the subject and loved it. After a while, his elder professor started training him to take his place, since he was good with the students as well. Maes became Muggle Studies professor at 25.

Roy, instead, went to become an auror, along with Riza. He aimed to get more influence in the ministry to, one day, become the Minister of magic; both Riza and Maes were aware of that and helped him as they could. Riza just wanted to protect her people, but she made a point of protecting Roy in particular, since he was one of his closest friends and another of her closest friend's husband.

Roy dedicated to his career until he was 26, then his old DADA professor called him to assist him with the dueling classes at Hogwarts. Since it didn't hurt his objectives, and being at Hogwarts would take him closer to his spouse, he went, and taught Duels as assistant for two years. Shortly after he moved in, he learned of his first pregnancy, and for the first time nearly regretted ever marrying Maes. He survived through the pregnancy and even almost enjoyed it, and Izumi Mustang was born in April of 1899.

That same year he was present to see the first child of his blood in centuries be sorted into Gryffindor. He could see many people in the Slytherin and Gryffindor tables looked just as shocked as he was at that fact, but he knew most of that shock was bound to turn into something bad, and that day he vowed to somehow aid and protect the cousin he barely knew. He took to calling Edward "Fullmetal" when, in one of the DADA classes on their first year, the Professor caught Edward trying to exchange one of Russel Tringham's Valentine chocolate boxes with one he carried, and as punishment made the Gryffindor eat his own sweets. Edward was the colour of steel for an entire week, and the DADA Professor called him Fullmetal for a class or two. Roy, though, adopted the name and used it ever since.

When Roy was 28, the DADA professor was murdered, and he discovered he had been appointed as his replacer, as the man had alread seemed to know of his possible fate. He was reluctant at first, but accepted the job and took on the teaching of the classes by himself.

He accepted the place as both DADA and Duels professor, and also the Slytherin Head of House place temporarily, since he was the only Slytherin on staff apart from the Headmaster (and the late professor). Another Slytherin arrived on staff when he was 30, the new ancient runes professor was much older than him, but he hesitated in handing in the title to her. Roy had done such a good job on his two years as head of House and on his past as a prefect that both the other Slytherins agreed he should keep his title.

At the age of 30 also he learned of his second pregnancy and cursed Merlin for his luck. Edward, though, was so amused by Maes antics that he kept everything the Muggle studies professor gave to him as reminder of his first daughter and his spouse's second pregnancy. For months, when Roy called him Fullmetal, he would flash him an embarassing picture of himself and tease. Roy resisted his student, and Edward eventually gave up, allowing him to use the nickname as he wanted. Apart from that, he found that he enjoyed the second time around much more than the first, but that was also due to the fact that he learned how he could do emotional blackmail on Maes to leave him be and not do too many embarassing things. His second daughter was named Elisya Hughes.


He is currently 35 years old, and over 5 months along in his third pregnancy. It shows, but his usual choice of robes usually hides his form from unsuspecting eyes, due to a spell cast on the fabric. Non observant people who see him with his robes open and realise his bulged stomach might think he is overweight or has a bad case of beer belly.

Roy randomly forgets to cast the concealing charm on himself. Feel free to say you can see his stomach sometimes. =)]
